A collaborative effort between Circular San Antonio, ReMat Enterprises, and local partners at each destination, these 1-week trips offer participants a unique opportunity to explore world-renowned circular economy efforts in European cities known for their climate commitments.
🌿 Why Join?
Imagine a week dedicated to exploring circular and urban sustainability initiatives first-hand in either Munich or Copenhagen* while developing relationships with peers across the United States that represent geographic, cultural, and professional diversity. Our curated tours allow participants to engage with their counterparts in Europe, establishing transatlantic connections and relationships that can support collaborative efforts on both sides of the Atlantic.
🏙️ What to Expect?
Guided walking and bicycling tours, expert-led presentations, collaborative workshops, and insightful networking opportunities. Engage with local experts, visit iconic sustainable landmarks, and savor locally-sourced cuisines.
Trip fare is inclusive of seven nights of accommodations, train tickets and public transportation within destination country or countries, three meals a day, guided tours, workshops, and seminars. Exclusions are airfare to and from the European destination and health and travel insurance.
🌐 Who Should Apply?
Urban planners, architects, sustainability enthusiasts, circular economy advocates, and city/regional government officials—this journey is crafted for you. Fluency in English is a must, and if you speak another local or regional language, that's a plus.
